  • Case Study : Cost and Lead Time Optimisation

    Challenge:

    A client had a commodity based supplement with escalating costs and inflexible lead times.

    What we did:

    Asses the current contracts and supplier performance, and the likely future of the commodity.

    The situation was worse than the client had anticipated. Many import and freight cost had not been considered with a very volatile commodity driving prices even higher.

    Results:

    Going back to a full market review and strong negotiations. We saved the client 2.54 million (GBP) in annual costs. Reduced lead times from 16 weeks to 4-6 weeks for flexibility and built in supplier performance criteria for the contract to ensure delivery performance

  • Case Study: Adapting Quickly to New Legislation

    Challenge:
    A range of botanical supplements was suddenly affected by new legislation, making several key ingredients non-compliant. The company did not want to halt sales or pull products from shelves, but the formulas had to change.

    What we did:

    Reviewed the full range for regulatory compliance, dosing, and supply chain risks.

    Identified and sourced alternative ingredients that met all compliance requirements, maintained efficacy, and had secure supply, without any impact on COGS
